Master Daan Gan was asked by a monk, "What is the meaning of the founding teacher's coming from the West?"
He said, "A goat-head cart pushes the bright moon."
So apparently a goat-head cart is a kind of wheelbarrow...a piece of trivia that would make for a great conversation starter at the /r/Zen meetup party.
Anyways, there's all sorts of ridiculous talk about fingers pointing to moons v/s reflections in a pond or whatever...but what does it mean to carry on the tradition of Bodhidharma and push the bright moon around wherever you go?
Can any of you dump it out?
