I thought, and this is just my opinion, that two recent exchanges clearly highlighted the perennial disputes (by sincere people) in this forum.
-
Zen Masters v/s karmic sin - What do Zen Masters teach?
- Question: Do Zen Masters accept that there is any inherent condition to be saved from?
- Universality: Citing sources is the basis for a discussion of any topic.
-
Zen Masters v/s censorship - Do secular communities have the right to say no to religious claims?
- Question: Is it censorship to directly confront people who make anti-factual religious claims in a secular forum?
- Universality: Content Brigading is not protected speech.
.
(Welcome link) (ewkwho?) note: I assumed, and will continue to assume, that all of us agree on the universality of these questions... let me know if I'm wrong.
