Is it some extremely focused, ciritically directed skepticism towards the teachers/teachings, an emotional “dark night” (really dislike that phrase) spiritual crisis thing, or just a deep sense of not believing there’s a discernible truth that penetrates all experience? Or just that the questioning individual cant discern it? Is it accepting that all the shit that’s going down is in fact due to the questioner’s transgressions, intended or unintended, but being unconvinced in there being a solution to it? Or something completely different from what I’m thinking about? Is it simply doubt in the phrase “a finger that is pointing at the moon, should not be mistaken for the moon?” Any help would be appreciated.
