I'm very new to Zen and Buddhism in general. I've read all his other books, Zen Mind, Beginners Mind, Become What You Are by Alan Watts, some books by Thich Nhat Hanh and various other bits and bobs on the history of Zen and Buddhism. Shobogenzo seems like such a tome to get through and I doubt much of it would go in if I did read it in its raw state. I'm also sitting Zazen as often as I can.
How does his take on Shobogenzo compare and is it worth my time?
