Are you enlightened if you are lying about meditation?

About a week ago one of our "6 m/o account" trolls who can't AMA, can't write at a high school level, can't answer y/n questions, made a post making fun of one of my posts, and tried to use Dahui's teachings to prove that "saying no to meditation" was not Zen.

All the above have things they consider important where their infatuations lie. Lacking the qualities of great men of power to step back and recognize their error, they think of what they consider important as extraordinary, as wondrous and subtle, as peace and security, as the ultimate, as liberation.

The key thing to understand is how people misrepresent Zen texts.

Here we have Dahui saying

  1. Those lacking the qualities of greatness think their infatuations are important... and this is error.
  2. Those lacking the qualities of greatness "consider what they think important to be extraordinary", and this is error.
  3. Those lacking the qualities of greatness "consider what they think important to be the ultimate, to be liberation".

Dahui is saying if you worship meditation, as Zazen Dogenists do, if you think meditation is important, extraordinary, or liberation... then you are wrong.

But the 6 m/o account troll wanted to make it about Zen Master Dahui "not rejecting anything"... which Dahui clearly obviously is.

Plus Dahui specifically rejects mediation earlier in the passage... and the troll quoted this.

There isn't any question about Zen Masters rejecting meditation as a means to enlightenment... and it isn't any kind of attachment or error to point that out.

Zen isn't about accepting everything. Zen isn't about tolerance, or not having an opinion. Zen isn't about meditation.

Why do people lie about it, like this 6 m/o account?

Well... why can't people AMA about what's important to them, who they are, and what their r/zen username history is?
