Someone asked, “What is the place from which all buddhas come?”
Master Yunmen said, “Next question, please!”
I feel an important aspect of Zen is that all teachings are expedient. They point at a truth that doesn’t need them.
Words are words and have nothing to do with the absolute, or sacred dharma body. So the words that say to stop seeking with words point at that. I haven’t reached the dharma body myself, take care!
