Unsure of what to do with myself. I want to go to a zen(or any other buddhist) monastery, but wonder if it’s worth it. Can i get the same insights by books, internet, same-minded friends and just meditating at home? Also abit anxious for how my circumstances will react and also the idea of setting my relatively good life on break, is the monastery worth the break from my normal life?
