Language Barrier: Kensho and Satori in Chinese, Japanese, and English?

From a comment elsewhere:

Satori doesn't have only chinese characters (as in it's not just the japanese pronunciation of chinese characters); it's "悟り" and kensho is "見性" which is directly line 3 of the four statements

As usual, I started with Wumenguan, Wumen's Checkpoint. It got worse as it often does...

1. 妙悟 is translated as "realization" in the infamous Sekida.
2. 會 is translated as "realization" as well
3. 悟 is translated as "realization".
4. This whole thing 見箇甚麼道理
5. ...and at least part of this: 肯要諸人直下承當

Well, that was... something.

And that isn't even the point of this post... which was originally to talk about usage in context, doctrinally, not what the words were.

Thoughts?
