Anyone have an answer to the following question about this exchange on page 97.

’Indeed? Exclaimed Nan Ch’üan. It seems that Master Ma² has a worthy grandson³ here.’ Our Master then walked quietly away.

2. Nan Ch’üan himself.

3. Spiritual descendant.

Any idea why Blofield says Master Ma refers to Nan Ch’üan? Doesn’t Master Ma refer to Mazu Daoyi?

Or is this just a matter of Dharma legacy?
