What did Miyamoto Musashi mean by his statement "Under the sword lifted high, There is hell making you tremble. But go ahead, And you have the land of bliss"?

I don't know if this is the correct community in which to ask that question, but I don't know where else to turn for a better answer. I believe that statement by Musashi is tangentially related to Zen.
