When everything is seen and heard with a selfish bias, your inherent Buddha mind - the very mind your parents gave you when you were born, is turned into a hell. It is deplorable that anyone would change it into a fighting spirit or hell, because of an egoistic partiality for himself..

My take then, is that all the bickering, one upmanship, dhamma battles, derogatory words and big egos on r/zen is the total antithesis of this Unborn Buddha mind.
And according to Bankei, will surely drag anyone involved in such activities, away from the balanced equanimity and harmony of the zen mind.
