Recently I've been reading a silly webnovel about an immortal daoist cultivator and in the translator's comments this came up:
Don't forget that "blade" and "Dao" have almost the same pronunciation.
I thought that might have interesting implications for things like "The Sword that Kills and the Sword that gives life"
I don't know if it's the same word as the one for "blade" in the thing I'm reading, but if it is that's something to consider.
