Hi guys, I'm a total newbie to zen, I think I only know the basic idea of it. And I just started meditating again after a long time. But today I was in our garden and at one moment I just looked at the outer world and I felt like I'm actually seeing it if that makes sense. There were no concepts of the things in my eyesight that would pop to mind. I just felt like this is the world and me. I then proceeded to touch a tree and I just focused on that as well as on everything else I was experiencing at the moment. I watched a video on non-duality yesterday and I thought "I'm the perceiving, there is nothing but now and I am nothing but this perception at this very moment." This took a few minutes. What was I experiencing from a zen perspective? I hope not to bother anyone if this turns out to be irrelevant. Merry Christmas.
