Question about walking meditation

Last Thursday I was able able to finally grasp the concept of walking meditation and focusing on the breath all at once. I was able to keep the practice going everyday up until this morning. I woke up feeling good, but I have had a very difficult time trying to work and focus on anything that I'm trying to do. So I thought "Close your eyes and Focus on the breath" while sitting at my desk at work to see if that could slow my mind down but I found that to be just as difficult. I'm surprised that I'm having such a difficult time with this even though I was able to keep it going for 4 days straight.

Hoping someone could share some insight on this.
