I’ve been studying Buddhism and just got into zen practice. I’m super new! I’ve recently had an issue with my partner and her infidelity. We are no longer partners. I’ve been plagued with thoughts of her and her new partner that she cheated on me with but I know this isn’t something I should be thinking about anymore as she is not a part of me so I should let it go. That is easier said than done. Any other words of advice for these negative thoughts I know I shouldn’t be having? I’m not really sad or anything I just don’t want to think about these things and I know there are ways I can work on this through zen practice.
