Mazu's "Do not grasp good; do not reject evil. "

_

The sutra says, “Those who seek the dharma should seek nothing.”Outside of the mind there is no other Buddha; outside of the Buddha there is no other mind. Do not grasp good; do not reject evil. Do not rely on both sides of purity and defilement.

_

_

What do you imagine Mazu means when he said not to 'grasp good'?

_

What is 'good' in this context? What might it mean to 'grasp' it?

_

Is meditation a tool to become 'more good' and 'less evil'? How does meditation relate to 'good and evil'?
