The study of shadows

Alright I know this sub is about making the mind see Itself rather than mistaking It for its shadows.

The argument of this post is the more we know what the shadows are, what is it that makes them hard to see, the less inclined we are to fall in confusion.

Although studying previous confusion is valuable I'm arguing it can be as beneficial to study the roots of confusion beforehand, especially when those belong to what is rarely seen as a root of confusion like matter, time, memory, the senses, etc.

So what is it that makes them hard to see? I'd say fear is one edge and false belief the other. I will leave the rest to your contemplation.
