I am not here to preach, I just find it a little absurd that no matter how much time passes, I swing by this community and the talk is all the same. Just one big circlejerk purely on delusion or intellectual level.
So I ask you, how many of you have actually sat your asses down and reached the dhyana that is described in ancient texts?
Reading translated books by somebody else is one thing, making a religion out of it is another, but how many of you have actually tested anything that you've read against itself?
P.S. I am not here to convince you that "jhana" experience is Zen or not Zen, I am simply asking if you are a doer or bullshitter. Well?
Note: so far nobody has come forward. Why am I not surprised?
