Comment on GG 16

Ummon said, “The world is vast and wide; for what is it you put on your seven-piece robe at the sound of the bell?”

You get born, you die.

Inbetween, you're on a journey through the realm of forms.

Being concerned about this or that, urged to act and react, being a walking and talking stinking bag of bones, existing for not even a half of a blink of the eye of the universe.

Letting your mind get used and abused by others and yourself - like there is another person who you call "I" and "me".

What a joke!

You're just another wave in the ocean appearing and disappearing again, pretending you are more than a pile of molecules, created by transformation of energy, just to transform energy.

You want to be "enlightened"? Be "enlightened"! Now or never!

Who binds you?

Who's in charge?

Whatever decision you make, only the world of forms might change. Why does it matter? What is it good for?

Where do you want to take your accomplishments with, the moment your lights are out?

The next illusion, the next delusion, the next confusion... it's waiting for you around the next corner. Your effort to avoid it is nothing but another ripple. Ridiculous!

Reality is what it happens to be and it's happening right in front of you. You're nothing but a tiny part of it.

If you are enlightened, all things are as though of one great family. But if not, everything is separate and disconnected.

If you are not enlightened [it makes no difference anyway because] all things are as of one great family. And if you are enlightened [this also makes no difference to reality, in which] every single thing is different from every other things.

Enlightenment is realization. Seeing through is the method.

Relativity is a pendulum swinging between the pluses and minuses in this world. It'll be balanced out whether you do something or not, friend.

Relax. Enjoy the show.
