When I'm meditating, my thoughts often wander, as is normal, and I do my best to bring them back to my breath. But I find that occasionally my thoughts wander to contemplating the Dharma and I often allow the thought to continue for a while. Do any of you have an opinion on thinking about the Dharma during mindfulness meditation? Even though the subject of the thought is helpful, it may not be useful to have ANYTHING take attention from the main focus of meditation, which is to still the mind and develop concentration. Thoughts?
