why?

I think it is strange that folks on this sub claim to be Buddhists and go about insulting other people & using harsh, and violent speech. Why do you call yourself a Buddhist if you obviously do not follow the precepts? This is a serious question: how can you claim to practice zazen & go around throwing insults and fowl language at people you don't even know? It is honestly disappointing. I come to this sub for insight & fellow Zen practitioners, and all I see is childish joking around, fighting, arguing and harassment. The sub is for Zen. Let's have some respect.
