The dilemma I've had with reaching for enlightenment.

An untouched mind burns so hot that it glows, and grasping at it as if to understand a thing is like gripping onto a cattle prod. A well-explored mind is peaceful and cool. Passively touching the mind is not what causes such pain, it's only what opens one's eyes to all the pain they already unknowingly take in every day. But to actively hold onto the mind requires one to acknowledge and tread past so much pain, it might kill me before I ever reach my destination.
