How Zen and Insight creates Power.

Zen is insight into true nature.

And what of the thralls who have no attained insight? Where are they scurrying along to? Gripping themselves by their feeble understandings of reality as they cling to everything that is ephemeral?

Life– existence, is now the playing–ground for the aware. Those who have crept through the Way and have asserted themselves to be Nothing stand firmly, unfazed by the rapport of chaos and death.

Real power will always rely on the ignorance of its agents. No single human, group nor single actor runs the dispositif– (machine or apparatus) but power is dispersed through the apparatus as efficiently and silently as possible, ensuring its agents do whatever is necessary.

These silent agents are your thralls.

You send men to their deaths, sliced through with bullets piercing their hearts, and to you– the enlightened– you are unfazed by the ephemeral and fleeting nature of life, hardened and unconcerned by the Nothingness of your subjects.

Now will you take your rightful place at the throne– become Gods among men?

Or will you cower beneath your realizations– failing as the patriarchs have done, will you not kill what stands in your way?

Or will you leave power to those who still remain in the cycle of illusory delusions?

Take control the ignorant– or die to their sword.

Followers of the Way, if you want insight into Dharma as is, just don't be taken in by the deluded views of others. Whatever you encounter, either within or without, slay it at once: on meeting a buddha slay the buddha, on meeting a patriarch slay the patriarch, on meeting an arhat slay the arhat, on meeting your parents slay your parents, on meeting your kinsman slay your kinsman, and you attain emancipation. By not cleaving to things, you freely pass through
