Monk living at Nansen's monastery, doing work, Nansen throws a rock at him. Monk looks up at him. Nansen raises his leg. Monk is confused as to why he threw the rock. Nansen, or was it Yunmen, says 'what about the leg?'
Or something like that.

Whats your favorite zen fairy tale? Bodhidharma riding a twig accross the river? Huineng's unliftable robe? Huangpo wanting to break the legs of a guy who walked on water? The idea of a zen 'master' and the history of 'zen' as a whole?
