Dissolving attachment to the feeling of being loved?

Dissolving attachment to the feeling of being loved?

Does anyone know how to let go of the notion that you yourself are inherently deserving of love in relationships? I've realized that I've never felt emotionally fulfilled in any of the relationships I've had, and I acknowledge that needing to feel loved in a relationship is something that I want more than almost anything. How do I let this go, so that I can continue to love others fully while not wishing that I felt completely loved by others?

I don't love with any expectation that someone else should treat me any specific way, but I desire to feel the intensity of love that I feel for everyone around me from someone other than myself. I've been working hard on loving myself, but because I can't feel the quality and depth of feeling from other people the same way that I feel for others, all of my relationships end up feeling one-sided. Does anyone have any advice?
