The Master asked Te-shan's attendant, "Where have you come from?"
"From Te-shan's," replied the monk.
"Why have you come?" asked the Master.
"I've come out of filial feeling for you, Ho-shang," said the attendant.
"What is the most filial behavior in this world?" asked the Master.
The attendant did not reply.
