直指人心。 "Straight pointing at person's mind"
.
This is the least used phrase(?) of the Four Statements. While it appears in statements/restatements of the Four Statements, I'm not finding it thematically anywhere else.
Is it translated in some other way that I'm missing?
.
Plus the other weird thing is that the "intro" to the platform sutra that mcrae translated has some stuff relevant to the four statements, but it appears that red pine's translation omits the intro because it isn't in the dunhuang version? Is this getting into platform-sutra-revisions territory or not?
