ThatKir's /r/Zen Blogpost: Entry 3

  1. Been having some kind of rash all over this body on-and-off for the past few weeks; decided to step up from the bottom shelf detergents to see what, if anything, changes.

  2. After sending the case of Puhua getting a beating from a police officer, the Farmer told me that the punishment "definitely did not" fit the crime; that the case hurt her brain.

    1. What was Puhua's crime?
    2. Zen Masters say that the dharma being preached is akin to a lion whose roar shatters people's brains; a poison smeared drum. How do you understand with brains intact?
  3. The horse trainer said something about "laying claim to Zen as one's culture" when her illiteracy in said culture was pointed out as disqualifying her from making judgements about said culture.

How do Zen Masters recognize their own?

Identities of religious creed are rooted in faith in a set of doctrines, what is Zen rooted in?

  4. Last night I boiled collard greens & kale and seasonings.

    Protip: Imbibe the potlikker.

  5. Baozhi, Book of Serenity, Lingyun aka. Mr. Peach Blossoms post incoming...soon...
