Mind, not mind
Neither perception, nor non-perception
Kind, not kind
Neither conclusion, nor inception
Setting aside the relationship of parts to the whole,
Don't let Essence, Bliss, and Transformation haunt you in a hole
Take refuge in the Buddha
...

Wearing sandals for a hat
Would your fashion have saved the cat?
Not in words, nor lofty song
Yet knowing how to beat the drum
Throw down your books and clap along!
Take refuge in the Dharma
...
Leaving home, uprooting life

Walking alone; everywhere you meet it
Real true friends can never be defeated
Zhaozhou's "No" bites before it barks
Reviling buddhas and patriarchs
Take refuge in the Sangha
