Just this week a Dogenist came in here and tried to justify the "earn access* requirement of meeting a Dogenist "master"... why?
That would be like trying to see a doctor and having to wait months where you demonstrate you believe everything the doctor will say first.
Brian is going to go on to talk about Bodhidharma, largely a fictional character to Dogenists, a myth to the Asian world... but just some grumpy dumpy old dharma preacher to Zen Masters.
Who even cares what Bodhidharma said after "empty, with nothing holy"?
