What is "promoting hate"? Why do trolls keep trying to lynch Zen Masters?

Context: This was recently report-brigaded under the claim that it "promoted hate" and removed from being seen on the front-page.

This is the auto-message that got sent out:

"Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. We don’t tolerate promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability, and any communities or people that encourage or incite violence or hate towards marginalized or vulnerable groups will be banned."

Facts:

  1. Yunmen said he will personally bring a can of old-man whoop ass and break the legs of anyone who lies about Zen, even if they have good intentions.

  2. Neither Yunmen, nor any other Zen Master, say anything about 'hating' the motley crew of Zen-exterminators, shit-eaters, ass-lickers, etc. that show up to their communities.

  3. If you barge into this community, spread hate about Zen Masters, and then whine when Zen Masters, Yunmen will break ur legs.

  4. If you claim Zen is Buddhism, are unable to define Buddhism, are unable to address its lack of scholarly currency, but claim it is "hate" when Buddhism is given a clear and contextual definition, Yunmen will break ur legs.

What are some historical examples of Zen-hate?

  1. Trolls poisoning Bodhidharma on multiple occasions.

  2. Conspiring with Buddhist Priests to decapitate the Second Patriarch.

  3. Sixth Patriarch chased out of town by a lynch mob.

  4. The historical censorship of Zen texts by Japanese cults and subsequent misrepresentation of their religion as "Zen".

What are some current manifestations of Zen-hate?

  1. Organizing hate-subreddits to brigade this community, downvote its members, and encourage individuals with hallucinations to act on the belief that certain users are conspiring to destroy them via. "mind-rape".

  2. Trying to turn the communities attention away from Yunmen's "I'll break ur legs if u lie" and towards "Believe in kumbaya, cultivate merit, downvote & report Yunmen."

  3. Demanding that people here to study Zen accommodate fraud.

How do we confront bigoted trolls trying to lynch Zen Masters?

How does failing to recognize the historical marginalization of Zen voices impact misrepresentation of this subreddit?
