Preferences.

The Perfect Way knows no difficulties

This preference, or lack of preferences, desires, aversion or lack or appearance of each, is a gauge with which I measure myself..

Aversion and desire are something that arise in me all the time.. And this is how I know I'm far from the path..

Years ago I was young and carefree, I didn't have much aversion to anything, and would take anything in my stride..

Now I'm a lot older and my habits are more entrenched, aversion arises daily.

There is conflict in my mind, do I give free reign to the aversion, or be averse to the aversion?
