General opinion from the Non-Buddhist school of Zen/thought for Jianzhi Sengcan? Do you guys view the text "Faith in mind" as legitimate?

Wanted something new to read and found a pdf of "Faith in mind" but I wanted to get a opposing view which I enjoy getting on what the r/Zen flavor of Zen thought about it during my reading of it.
