If Buddha-nature (Unborn Mind) is 'emptiness' and it is at everybody's core (your true face before your father and mother was born, clouded by delusion and discriminatory, preferential thinking), if you deny 'no-self' and insist that there is a self, you are denying emptiness.
Similarly extrapolating from 'emptiness', if everything is at its core empty, despite "true emptiness is materiality", if you apply distinction and differentiation to things made up of 'emptiness', are you not just allowing superficiality and delusion to guide you?
It's not strictly 'non-duality' in the sense that all is one, but rather all is none, and you can't really separate two bits of nothing from eachother without running into problems.
