Long time reader, first time poster.
I have been reading Brad Warner since my youth; from Hardcore Zen to Don't Be a Jerk. His style is straightforward and often uses analogies or life circumstances that I can grasp. When I read outside Warner, it tends to be beyond my grasp. My question to the community is twofold:
- What is this subreddits opinion of Warner? He seems, at times, to be a controversial figure.
- If someone wanted to move beyond Warner what are some proper recommendations that don't get to heady?
