Watching someone die helped me achieve at least a level of zen

It was the longest moment of true clarity I've had in a while.

Sitting and waiting. There's no anticipation, you know what's coming. You're not in a rush to get there. No aimless thoughts or boredom. Just existence.

I wouldn't expect everyone would react the same. I wasn't happy, but I wasn't sad. I just was.

It really helped shape my current views and something tangible I understand and can work back to again.

Under different circumstances of course.

OOOO just to be clear as an after thought, I did not kill anyone. This was in a hospital.
