News Year's Questions

I feel in Zen that is important to question our core and our assumptions. In that spirit, I pose these questions:

1. Is it possible that in trying to define and explore our understanding that our writing and discussion becomes overwrought if not downright abstruse?
2. In developing our Zendos and centers, is it important that they be accessible to everyone, and not tied up in expensive and/or remote properties that require endless fundraising?
3. What is the experience that we want to extend to others in face-to-face interactions, both in our sangha and out in the world?
