An exchange I observed my friends having, and one I thought was worthy of a ko'an. Enjoy.

Two friends were discussing the concept of 'being'.

One said, "In order for there to be 'is', won't there have to be an 'is not'?"

The other retorted, "Oh...? 'Is' just said that in order to be itself it has to create something other than itself within itself?"
