A monk asked: "I find it impossible to suppress all my defilements and delusions. What can I do to suppress them?" The Master replied: "Trying to suppress delusion is de- lusion too. Delusions have no original existence; they're only things you create yourself by indulging in discrimination."

Winddrake Tries real hard: When I first came on this sub someone said after a comment I made that is sounded like I was making something up. I thought for a moment and realize they were right. Off course I was making stuff up. All day I make stuff up. " I am god man windrake and I come to liberate all sentient beings!" "yes winddrake, we love you windrake, you are trying so hard winddrake!" ( winddrake bows to winddrake in great reverance and respect).

I thought Zen was about purification and then freedom from all my thoughts and uncertainties.

I was shocked to see the guy sitting in a camping chair typing in a cold room worried he has fucked everything up is the same Buddah he has been searching for in texts, pacification, sex, practices and a whole litany of philosophical ideals. Just so, as is, no editorials needed. Shocked I say, SHOCKED!

Every day since is an argument with this realization. More,more,more HERE,less less less STRUGGLE. I have come to realize I am more freaked out by my freedom then my imprisonment! Who would of known!

This struggle is fantasy off course, just an argument between ghosts and who doesn't love a good ghost story! BOOOOOOOOO! But that does not help if you see yourself as haunted and I sympothise completely. Now that we are both haunted would you care for some tea? It is special holy tea, scares off all the nasty little ghost common to western minds. When we are both better maybe we could travel and sell this sweet ghost busting tea to all the poor deluded folks we meet. Real missionaries we would be!

I personally see this as a fine way to spend a life. Freeing the poor suffering folks by peddling magic tea. They say they get better so really what is the harm?

You see I think I figured something out by doing this OP and off course I am ecstatic to share with you but in fact nothing is figured out, it is just a joy to share with you. I could't figure, purify, teach, guide, squander, slander, bequeath, pardon or exalt if I wanted to. Just an expression of gratitude for existence like a drunkard singing himself to sleep " over in Calarney, many years ago... " today is a good day!
