Posture/Meditation Q

I've got some forward neck posture that I'd like to correct while getting better acquainted with sitting meditation. Any tips? I think that using the wall as support, tucking the chin and making sure the back of my head is straight against the wall (opposed to my head being tilted back as it wants to do) might do the trick. Some of you guys would know better than I do.

Early in the new year I think I'm gonna see a physical therapist. I'm pretty sure that years of bad posture has something to do with these grindy shoulders. Anyway, feedback appreciated.

Honest disclaimer: I don't think suppression of body or mind are Zen, or that Zazen is a technique that turns you into a Buddha. I don't believe in "as you practice so you shall attain." I don't believe in building spiritual merit.
