Where else do they talk about Nanquan chopping a cat in half? Or Mazu, kicking a prostrate pilgrim in the head? Or Zhaozhou, slapping a monk for bowing?
Where else do they talk about Huangbo's "Since you are fundamentally complete in every respect, you should not try to supplement that perfection by meaningless practices"? Or Dongshan's, " “To know the existence of the person who transcends the Buddha, you must first be capable of a bit of conversation"?
What other forums talk about the Gateless Barrier? Or Yunmen cowboying the monk's hall out through the triple gate? Or "having nothing inside, seeking for nothing outside"?
Where are the people who agree with only half? Or those with no interest in conduct, just the Eye of the Law?
Where else is there motionless chain of causality?
