_
What are you working so hard to do?
_
A. Still your mind? The moment you get up it will move again.
_
B. Get rid of negative thoughts/emotions? They will just remain repressed until you relax enough to face them.
_
C. Gain positive emotions to always keep? How much strength will it require to maintain your stony smile throughout your life?
_
D. Gain understanding on how to conform your behavior? Once you get old it will collapse in on you when you no longer have the strength to maintain the act.
_
It is when you come upon a wall, blocking your way, you notice all that you've been running from till now.
_
All that you've been so desperate change or to shift, spending so much time following fantasy systems to distract and convince you that you could somehow no longer be your own self.
_
But some magical New Self! Buddha Self!
_
Yeah....anything you create that way will just be a fantasy built on effort and skill, a head on-top of your head.
_
It's a heavy thing.

豈不見道、從門入者不是家珍、從縁得者始終成壞。
"It is said that things coming in through the gate can never be your own treasures. What is gained from external circumstances will perish in the end."
