Debunking Sectarian Lies for the Millionth Time: Communism isn't Marxism

Marx specifically proselytized communism. The majority of communists who ever lived acknowledge Marx as the father of their belief system. A very tiny minority of weirdos will tell you that communism is not Marxism even though said weirdos will often quote many of Marx's works approvingly. In fact, they will often go so far as to acknowledge Marx's preeminence as a communist theorist while still insanely insisting that communism is distinct from Marxism. One argument I heard actually tried to draw an analogy from the relationship between Zen and Buddhism. They said that even though the Buddha embodied Zen Enlightenment, Zen itself wasn't Buddhism because the practices that define the general consensual definition of Buddhism are completely irrelevant to Zen. Then they used an example from the physical sciences, insisting that science isn't inherently Newtonian even though Isaac Newton laid the foundations of what defines science in the modern age. Anyways, I just wanted to clear this whole thing up about Marx. It would be really absurd to argue about the obvious fact that all forms of communism are blatantly Marxist when no communist work of any significance has ever tried to distinguish itself from his authority. That would be like scientists saying Newton fundamentally misunderstood gravity. Or Zen Monks calling the Buddha an ox headed minion of hell.
