It’s not uncommon for Buddhists to say that Buddhism is ’a science of the mind’.
If you take a look at Buddhism with this concept in mind, it becomes rather obvious that the description is accurate.
If Buddhism is now established to be a science of the mind, the key follow-up question is: how valuable is science?
When I observe a doctoral thesis on trees, I notice that, no matter how many insights the thesis contains, it will never be a tree.
I guess this was one of those shower thoughts and it sounded 'zen' to me.
