I see a lot of ridiculous statements emphasizing emptiness or impermanence with regards to enlightenment. If you do this, you're better of learning archery or motorcycle maintenance. At least that way you'll understand that you don't need any of these concepts to be enlightened, only the willingness to "go straight through and die". It's in the name of the book: "Instant Zen". "Instant".
But there is a point worth discussing. There are plenty of enlightened people. Mazu made sure of it. Can anyone share with me how the "vibes" of a "Zen Master", "enlightened person" and a "normal person (lol)" differ? It can help erase some "doubts".
I'll start: 1.Just because you're Enlightened doesn't mean you're a Zen Master. 2. Enlightened or normal, you'll still drink tea.
