Welcome! ewk comment: Remember this whole Hengchuan series is an investigation; is Hengchuan a cool Zen cat, or is he some kind of sitting meditation sutra worshipper? Buddhists, Dogenists, Hakuiners, all of them are practicing for paradise. Not Zen, and, apparently, not Hengchuan.
