White is black and black is white

Everyone can distinguish white from black thus is black and white. Still people get confused when they hear that black is white and white is black.

Everyone understands when they get hit by Yunmen’s staff, thus is the staff. Still people get confused when they hear Yunmen say that same staff can touch the heavens.

Anyone thinking that the staffness of a staff is in staff, that the whiteness of white is in white and that the blackness of black is in black will still be able to differentiate, but probably never be satisfied with it. In some cases they might even start beliebers in how the whiteness of white is not in white and the blackness of black not in black or how there is something special to Yunmen’s heaven poking staff.

This has been about the thusness of things.
