Volume 2 of Whitfield's two-part(?) translation of Fenyang Shanzhao's extensive records is now out on amazon.
The first part was fully of Q/A with Preceptors, commenting in verse/prose on Zen cases, and answering lists of questions. Going by the description alone, this one appears to be more in the 'instructional verse' genre.
