Linji said, "What's this old fellow doing talking in his sleep?"
Deshan struck the Master a blow.
Linji grabbed the chair Deshan was sitting on and turned it over.
Deshan let the matter end there.
It always riles up the religious bigots and racists when it is factually pointed out that Japanese meditation-cults don't have the authority to speak on behalf of Linji and Deshan. It's therefore not surprising that when trolls bare their souls to the community, it's a soul that they're deeply ashamed of and turn to meditation rituals and "purification" to try and escape.
Obviously, it's the duty of everyone here to bust out the torture instruments of Zen Master Buddha on these hell-dwellers.
