The *real* Ox of Zen

Daian said:

The ox comes pure: we don't apply the whip

The flat plain is boundless, the grass grows lush

At east, sitting astride him backward, riding out the gate.

At ease, sitting astride him background, riding out the gate.

A single note from the horizontal flute, so high it pierces heaven.

This is the family that grabs Buddha by the balls and raises no unalterable Dharma as the Dharma to be confronted...if you are here to find a cult that raises adherence as the ultimate virtue--you're in the wrong forum.

If you're here to be "in the moment"--you're in error; as for "living in the moment" or "union of opposites" that's just a shadow in a cave that you chase after.

If the ox is pure and there isn't any basis for establishing a whip to guide it--how will you find an entrance into the Gate?

(Don't identify the basis on what you imagine as absolute.)
